How to play
Put your ten numbers in order before anyone else. The same rules are in the app, under Rules on the home screen.
-
The goal
Be the first to have all ten cards in your rack in order, lowest at the front and highest at the back. That's Ten Steps, and it ends the round.
-
The pack
Numbered cards, one of each: 1 to 40 for two players, 1 to 50 for three, 1 to 60 for four.
-
The deal
Ten cards each, dealt one at a time into your rack as they come, from the back slot to the front. The next card is turned up to start the discards, and the player on the dealer's left goes first. Cards never change places in a rack.
-
A turn
Take the top discard and put it in any slot, or draw the top card of the pile. A drawn card can go in any slot or straight onto the discards; a card taken from the discards has to go in your rack. The card you replace goes on the discards.
-
When the pile runs out
The discards under the top card are shuffled to make a new draw pile.
-
Scoring
Ten Steps scores 75. Everyone else scores 5 for each card in order from the front slot, stopping at the first card out of order. The first to 500 wins, and a tie at the top is shared.

Ways to play
Run bonus: Ten Steps also scores your longest run of numbers in a row, 50 for three, 100 for four, 200 for five and 400 for six or more. Two player challenge: at a table of two, a rack needs a run of three to make Ten Steps. Partners: at a table of four, you and the player across from you add your points together.
Playing here
On your turn, tap the discards to pick up the top card, or tap the draw pile to draw. Then tap a slot to put the card there, or drag it there. A card you drew can go on the discards to throw it away, and a discard you picked up goes back with another tap. Tap the scores to see every round.
