Plain terms for games that ask very little of you.
The games
LivingRoom Play publishes card games for iPhone and iPad. They're licensed to you, not sold, for personal, non-commercial entertainment. Apps downloaded from the App Store are also covered by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies alongside these terms.
No real-money play
LivingRoom Stakes is played with play money. The chips have no real-world value, they cannot be bought, sold or cashed out, and no game we publish involves gambling or wagering anything of value.
Playing with other people
Online play goes through Apple's Game Center, and its terms apply to that part of it. When you play with other people, keep it civil: no harassment, no slurs, no threats, nothing you wouldn't say at someone's kitchen table. Chat is filtered before it appears, anyone can block anyone, and reports sent to [email protected] are answered within 24 hours. We may remove content or restrict access where we're able to, and serious behaviour can be reported to Apple, who control Game Center accounts.
Your saved games
Saved games belong to you and live on your device and in your own iCloud. We don't hold copies and can't restore a game you delete. Rare things happen — a lost device, an iCloud problem — and a game may be lost with them.
What we don't promise
The games are provided as they are, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that a game is free of bugs or that online play will always be available — it depends on Game Center, on your connection, and on the other players being there.
To the extent the law allows, LivingRoom Play isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the games, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app. Some places don't allow those limits, in which case they apply as far as they can.
Changes
These terms may change as the games do. The current version is always here, with its date at the top; continuing to use the games after a change means the new terms apply.
